Welcome!

Lately, and I have no idea why, I have been into writing. Writing everything, I've been writing to Angela in a diary that I hope will explain to her how crazy her mother is, I've been writing Thank You notes for the littlest of things in hopes that everyone will understand how much I appreciate what they do for us, and I have now decided that I would write to all of you so that you can understand the commotion that surrounds the Wold Family.

I must admit that lately, and by lately I mean since we got married, the commotion really hasn't been that outlandish other than the usual. We moved to Fargo, North Dakota in the December of 2006 so that I could pursue my degree in Social Studies Education. When we came here Tyler started off welding and then it was like a brick hit him and he decided that he too would pursue his dream career of being a Fireman. Tyler then attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College for a certification in Firefighting. He graduated at the top of his class in December of 2007. And I have never been so proud of him for going through with what he wanted. It's very difficult to get a job in Firefighting and he has been interviewing in many different cities, all with great hopes and failing to be the perfect job for our new family. Speaking of it was on November 1, 2007 that Tyler and I found out we were pregnant!!

That must be the biggest commotion in our lives right now, preparing for the child that is to grace us with HER presence. Can you believe that?! Tyler and I are having a little girl who is expected to be here on July 1, 2008. We have never been so scared and excited all at the same time. The pregnancy started off rocky with me loosing close to twenty pounds because of really bad morning sickness. After that began to subside, it was Sciatica that began to taunt me. Because of the back pain, I was forced to quit my job and focus on producing a healthy baby and finishing my spring semester. Tyler has been so great working as much as he can to bring home the bacon for his family. I am so lucky not only to be carrying the joy of our lives but to be married to man who is so giving and understanding of everything.

The latest doctor's appointment was the first of my "every two weeks" visits. It starts at 28 weeks that your belly measurements should co-inside with the number of weeks that you are pregnant. At my 28 week appointment I measured two weeks ahead, but the Doctor said that was normal to measure large the first time. Then at my 32 week appointment, I was measuring 2.5 weeks ahead! That's when the doctor said that we will keep a better eye on my size and if at my 34 week appointment I am still measuring larger than normal, then they will look into bumping up the expected due date of Angela.

Tyler and I are getting more and more anxious for our little Angela to grace us with her beauty. There are days that I just sit in her room, thinking about what she'll look like and reading my "mommy" books. Speaking of baby's room, Tyler did an amazing job on sewing Angela's bedding so that we didn't have to pay an arm and a leg.

I am so so proud of her room, even though I know that we will have to make adjustments for when she gets big enough to move around and pull on things. By this I mean, I know we will have to remove the canopy from above the crib. I am looking forward to my baby shower at the end of the month here in Fargo that my good friend Angela Mathers is throwing for me, and then for the baby shower the first of June that my mom and grandmother are throwing for me. Till then, it looks like I'll just relax and hang out around the house cleaning, reading, sleeping (which I do best), and patiently waiting for the day that I can post that we've delivered our little girl.
